Jewel University Gombe is thrilled to announce the appointment of Professor Mohammed Kabir as its first Vice-Chancellor. Professor Kabir, a renowned academic from the Department of Animal Science at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this pivotal role.

Professor Kabir is a distinguished professor of Animal Breeding and Genetics. His impressive record includes leading various conferences and workshops, contributing to numerous scientific publications, and demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence. Professor Kabir’s proven ability to manage committees and strategic initiatives positions him well to guide Jewel University Gombe through its formative years.

Professor Kabir is expected to assume office in May 2024 and will serve a five-year term. The university community warmly welcomes Professor Kabir and looks forward to his leadership in establishing Jewel University Gombe as a premier institution of higher learning.
