All staff are expected to pursue research projects that are relevant to the socio-economic and environmental challenges of society. Staff and students receive incentives for originality and breakthroughs in theories, design, and production of scientific and technological tools. Prizes, fellowships, grants and endowments will be given to staff and students who excel in their fields of research.
The University’s Research and Development Centre designs funding mechanisms and establishes links with donors and international agencies. Staff can secure external research grants or funding will receive a matching grant from the University.
The University’s research policy is boosted with endowments and grants dedicated to promoting new findings and discoveries. Brands, Patents, and styles will be commercialized to publicize to outcome of original theories, designs, and products. Staff and students who achieve landmarks will be sponsored to local and international conferences and exhibitions to display their works and interact with professional peers and colleagues. International exposure for researchers will also be promoted through the establishment of journals and special publications with editorial boards comprising distinguished scholars and professionals.
